MINKWANG (MK) JANG
About Me
I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU).
I specialize in research on consumers' judgments and decisions. One of my key research areas focuses on how consumers make decisions involving the trade-off between costs and benefits over time (e.g., how consumers' mental categorization of time affects intertemporal choice).
Additionally, I study how categorization impacts consumer judgments, such as assessing the strength of preferences for various products.
Before joining SMU, I received my Ph.D. in Marketing from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. I hold a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.A. in Psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.
